Pineapples and palm tree nails!

I’ve been dying to try out my new rimmel yellow nail polish, and this gave me the perfect opportunity!

Pastel love

So pastels are in at the moment – so I thought I’d bring them to my nails 😀

Kind of reminds me of love hearts (sweets!)

Nautical stripes!

I got inspiration for this on Pinterest from another pinner with amazing nails!

Painted all white first, then used nail tape to mask of the areas for stripes. Added a coat of blue and then painted the roses.

Was annoying when I did the top coat at the end and it smudged some of the lines – I need to find a top coat that doesn’t do that!

Flowers!

I bought a skirt in a similar pattern recently and thought it would look good as nail art too!

Fluro and flowers

I used Barry M polishes for this in gelly shine grapefruit (pink) and matte finish vanilla. I’m liking the contrast of the colours and the textures! The matte is kind of hard to see in the pics – it’s not as shiny in real life.

Added some flowers to each ring finger and some glitter (Barry M, rose gold) to the middle fingers.

Pastel snowflake Christmas nails

Pastel pink and blue Christmas nails – I thought I try something slightly different to the usual Christmas red. Snowflakes, trees and snow painted on with white nail art pen then iridescent glitter and Swarovski crystals added for a bit of sparkle!

I used NYC blue and models own baby pink.

Tropical gradient nails

As we’ve had some nice tropical weather recently I wanted nails to match! Looking at them makes me feel like I’m on holiday :-)

To get this effect I painted them white, then applied nail tape across the dry white paint. I used a sponge with yellow, orange and purple polish to create the gradient then removed the tape before finally adding some palm trees using a black nail art pen. Tropical!
